DESCRIPTION:Led by Horses is offering a monthly support group for individuals navigating the river of grief. Grief is difficult to do alone – much less with any clarity. Their capacity for authentic presence creates a sacred space where we can confront our most vulnerable emotions without judgment or artifice. Interactions with these majestic yet gentle beings facilitate a non-verbal process of rebuilding trust and processing complex emotions that may have become blocked or stagnant. \nEquine-assisted session occur on the ground\, side-by-side with the horse\, and may involve grooming\, leading\, or simply being in their calming presence. Through these grounded exchanges\, we rediscover the natural flow of our emotional landscape. Sessions typically begin and end with a group circle\, but the majority of the time is spent with the horses in our indoor arena. \nLaurie Higgins-Kerley and her team of Led by Horses Equine Coaches\, and the “Healing Herd” offer their guidance and compassion in a safe space. DESCRIPTION:  \nLed by Horses is offering Mindfulness with Horses every quarter\, a group for adolescents and adults that combines guided meditation and experiential learning with horses to reduce stressful conditions like anxiety and depression\, and provide tools for managing these issues.   \nHorses have a heart’s electromagnetic field which is 5 times more powerful than ours and 5 times larger! A herd of horses in coherence (heart rates are in harmony) generates a large and very powerful field. When we are around such a herd\, the influence of the large field on us is almost immediate. We get in harmony with ourselves and we are in coherence.  \n        \n            \n                                \n                                        \n                        \n                            \n                            mediation 8mediationmediation 6mediation 7mediation 9\n                    \n                \n                            \n        \n        \nIn Mindfulness with Horses\, you can alleviate stress in a safe and supportive environment alongside our gentle and peaceful horses. You will learn tools and techniques to find balance\, alleviate the anxious mind\, and find harmony. \nPracticing guided meditation and equine-assisted activities enhances your ability to create harmony within\, also known as coherence. These activities further facilitate learning through your breath\, to be in the present moment with the horse\, and in turn\, help mitigate the anxious mind.
