DESCRIPTION:Led by Horses is offering a monthly support group for individuals navigating the river of grief. Grief is difficult to do alone – much less with any clarity. Their capacity for authentic presence creates a sacred space where we can confront our most vulnerable emotions without judgment or artifice. Interactions with these majestic yet gentle beings facilitate a non-verbal process of rebuilding trust and processing complex emotions that may have become blocked or stagnant. \nEquine-assisted session occur on the ground\, side-by-side with the horse\, and may involve grooming\, leading\, or simply being in their calming presence. Through these grounded exchanges\, we rediscover the natural flow of our emotional landscape. Sessions typically begin and end with a group circle\, but the majority of the time is spent with the horses in our indoor arena. \nLaurie Higgins-Kerley and her team of Led by Horses Equine Coaches\, and the “Healing Herd” offer their guidance and compassion in a safe space.
