Prince is a tall, distinguished 13yo (2012) off-the-track Thoroughbred who joined Dove Creek in September 2023 as an owner surrender. After bouncing between multiple owners following his racing career, Prince has finally found stability and care with us. Though he has a minor respiratory condition (affecting his “flapper”), it doesn’t seem to trouble him. Recent veterinary care has addressed his medical needs, allowing him to thrive.

Prince is currently available as a companion horse while our talented trainers reevaluate his riding abilities after being off for some time due to his surgery, and they are making great progress with him. Currently under an English saddle, Prince has shown both joy and a natural talent. He seems happier and more willing to please as we explore this new direction in his training.
