SUMMARY:Grief Group - April 18th
DESCRIPTION:Grief asks something of us that the mind alone cannot give. \nMost of us were never taught how to grieve. We were handed platitudes and timelines\, then left largely alone with something that was never meant to be carried in isolation. So we withdraw. We go quiet. We navigate in the dark\, not because we are weak\, but because we were never shown another way. \nOur ancestors knew something we have largely forgotten. Grief is not just a private matter. It also belongs to our community. The mourning\, the witnessing\, the slow return to life\, these were always meant to be shared. We heal in relationship. We find our way back together. \nThe horses have always known this. \nThey are ancient wisdom teachers. Patient. Compassionate. Profoundly sensitive to what lives beneath the surface of every human who enters their space. They simply meet you – exactly where you are – with a quality of presence that is rare in the human world. Through a phenomenon called limbic resonance\, horses attune to our emotional truth with extraordinary accuracy\, reflecting back what we carry with gentleness and without a single trace of judgment. In their company\, the walls we have built around our grief begin\, quietly\, to soften. \nLed By Horses invites you to Dove Creek for a 3 hour experience for those navigating loss of a loved one – person or pet. On the ground\, side-by-side with our Healing Herd at Dove Creek\, you will be witnessed by the horses and by fellow travelers on this path. No pressure to explain yourself. Just the steady\, wise presence of these remarkable animals and the warm companionship of others who understand – along with a certifed facilitator and helpers – who help form a safe container for healing and hope. \nSessions unfold in our peaceful indoor arena or outdoor pen\, depending on the weather. We open and close in circle – because grief\, like horses\, asks us come together to connect\, support\, and be heard. \nLaurie Higgins-Kerley and her Led By Horses coaching team hold this space with care\, training\, and profound respect for the sacred terrain of loss. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n A07D3D24-570A-4F20-BB5A-4A98145A1393_1_105_c (1)IMG_1399mediation 71FC7D642-0B52-48CC-8214-71FEF25EC9EC_1_105_c (1)IMG_7925 (1)\n \n \n \n \n \nWhat to expect: Grief Suport Workhop in partnership with horses | Dove Creek Equine Rescue\, Canyon TX Facilitated by certified Equine Assisted Coaches All sessions are ground-based – no riding involved. \nWhat to expect: Grief Suport Workhop in partnership with horses | Dove Creek Equine Rescue\, Canyon TX Facilitated by certified Equine Assisted Coaches All sessions are ground-based – no riding involved. \nNo horse experience is necessary.
