The Merrie Emma Garnett Memorial Intern Scholarship

The Merrie Emma Garnett Memorial Scholarship has been established to honor the life and legacy of Merrie Emma Garnett, a dedicated educator and lifelong equestrian whose passion for teaching and love of horses continue to impact the lives of all who knew her. Merrie believes in nurturing the potential of every student and finds deep inspiration and peace in her connection with horses.

This scholarship supports students who reflect Merrie’s values – those who are pursuing a career in education, equine studies, veterinary science, or who demonstrate a meaningful involvement with horses. Whether through formal study or personal devotion, applicants should embody a spirit of compassion, perseverance, and a commitment of lifelong learning.

By supporting the next generation of educators and equine enthusiasts, this scholarship continues Merrie’s legacy of grace, generosity, and guidance!
