About Boone
Boone is a 16-year-old (2009) sorrel, a Registered Quarter Horse gelding who came to the rescue in April 2019 from an owner surrender in our area. Boone is partially blind in his right eye, but that does not slow him down one bit!
He has a quiet demeanor within the herd, but is always the first to the pen when we bring in the herd in the morning. Because of his personality and how “super smart” he is with his ability to help people release what they are holding, as well as how to establish clear boundaries, Boone is one of the lead horses in the Led By Horses program – Equine Assisted Coaching.
He is very effective in this work, assisting clients in opening up to their true nature and authentic self. He is part of the Volunteer Program as well, as a teacher to those who are new to horses. Boone will steal your heart!

Temperament & Training
Boone will begin formal evaluation and groundwork once his quarantine period is complete. His early interactions show a curious nature, strong awareness, and willingness to connect with handlers. Updates on his progress, temperament rating, and rider suitability will be added as he moves through the program.
