Otis is a 28yo (1998) mini donkey that came to the Rescue in July of 2024. Otis spent most of his years turned out in a pasture on a beautiful ranch, where he roamed with his best friend, Holvert. Holvert passed away in early July of 2024, leaving Otis very lonely. His owners did not want him to be alone, and now DCER is his forever home. Otis is sweet, kind, and a very independent, wise old soul who has already made friends with June and, more recently, the Golden Girls.
