About Sundance
Sundance is a 23yo (2002) sorrel Registered Paint horse. He began his journey at Dove Creek in June 2019 after his owners were undergoing difficult life changes and they wanted the very best for him. He had a successful career in performance before he arrived. Sundance is a very human-connected horse, which makes him adored in the Volunteer program, and as a member of the herd in the Led By Horses program – Equine Assisted Learning. He has helped many a person discover their true nature and joy with his profound presence and compassionate heart. Sundance stands at 16.3 hands and we all know he is a gentle giant who seems to love heping humans.

Temperament & Training
Sundance will begin formal evaluation and groundwork once his quarantine period is complete. His early interactions show a curious nature, strong awareness, and willingness to connect with handlers. Updates on his progress, temperament rating, and rider suitability will be added as he moves through the program.
